Mobile Patrols
Our mobile patrol and building services are an integral part of our business and has proven to be an essential asset to some of our valued customers.
Unlike other agencies our patrol services are unique in a number of ways that sets us above our competitor’s.
All patrol vehicles are marked with our black and white color scheme this acts as a great deterrent to potential criminal activity.
COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH (CAD) REPORTING SYSTEM
All patrol units are equipped with CAD Computer Aided Dispatch systems which allows our security personnel to type accurate date and time stamped reports which are automatically sent by E-Mail to key people with in your organization.
This system also has all critical information such as: – How many patrols are required – Key holder information – Alarm/door codes This protects your critical information from the outside world.
Our patrol officers and patrol units are monitored live by the on-duty dispatcher at all times during the course of the shift.
Video recorded mobile patrols and calls for service:
Our patrol units are equipped with on-board video dashcams and are recording for the entire shift, documenting the patrol officer’s actions and patrols as well as any alarm response calls throughout their shift. The video footage is kept on file indefinitely.
Mobile patrol and building services:
What we mean with this service is we take our mobile patrols to the next level to ensure your property is not only secured but protected from fire, flooding, homeless persons, and will even turn off lights as required to ensure you are saving money. In addition, and no other company has even thought of this, our mobile key rings holding your building keys are also GPS-enabled. So in the event the keys are lost, we can track their location.
For example, this service includes but is not limited to:
- Perimeter and interior physical checks of the site.
- Checking doors, windows, common areas, and stairwells.
- Opening and closing of the site including facilities such as pool and fitness areas at specific times based on your needs.
- Checking mechanical areas for leaks and other issues that need immediate attention.
- Body-worn cameras for safety and quality control purposes.
- Removal and trespass of homeless persons.
- Checking and verifying persons on site to ensure they belong on the premises.
- Computer Aided Dispatch secured reporting system (CAD) (protecting your information and business).
- Parking lot / parkade patrols and parking enforcement.
- Access control.
- Emergency and incident response to the site if required.
- Providing a visual and physical security presence.
- Shutting off hall and area lights to cut down on consumption.
- Arming / disarming of security systems.
- Effective patrols through post orders and continued training.
- Patrol verification utilizing security checkpoints as well as sophisticated dashcam (A-I) technology.
- Fence line gates and interior yard checks.
- Small and large businesses, residential, and industrial patrols.
Dashcams: How They Work and Their Benefits
Other companies also use dashcams; however, Secure Protection has the most advanced dashcams in the industry. How do we know this? Our new dashcams are equipped with AI technology, which benefits not only us as the security agency but also our employees and valued customers.
Capabilities:
- All sites can be geofenced using this system. This means an invisible fence is placed around your property, and it reports how many times a unit has accessed the site. For example, if there are three patrols at a site, the system will show the patrol unit entered the site three times and sends a report.
- If the patrol officer excessively brakes or accelerates, the system sends us a report.
- If the patrol officer takes their eyes off the road (e.g., texting or other forms of distracted driving), the system sends us a report.
- The geofence also reports how long the patrol officer was on site and sends a report.
- GPS tracking capability.
- If the patrol officer fails to put on their seatbelt, it sends a report.
- If someone is in the passenger seat, the system sends a report.
- The dashcam is continuously recording and documenting events as they happen.
- Management also has the ability to log in and view activities live.
- Speed reports on driving speed comparable to posted speed limits.
Some of these items you may not think or care about, but it all comes down to safety and awareness. We do not want our staff driving through your property texting on their phone, going too fast with the possible risk of an accident. We want them paying attention to what they are doing on the site and their duties. This confirms what they’re doing on your site, keeping them accountable and keeping your site safe.
Dispatch Control Center:
Our dispatch center, also known as the Real Time Operations Centre (R.T.O.C.), is a critical part and the nerve center of our operations 24/7. Our communications officers are available to offer assistance and client care services after hours.
In addition, our dispatch team is responsible for the following:
- Monitoring phones and taking calls from security personnel who are required to check in each hour for safety reasons.
- Dispatching alarm calls and other calls for service.
- Monitoring each officer’s location and ensuring the safety of staff.
- Dealing with new and existing clients as needed.
- Conducting inspections of incoming and outgoing patrol units.
- Submitting incoming reports and other paperwork from patrol staff.
- Reporting shift activities to management.
- Inspecting patrol staff as they come on shift, ensuring they present a professional image and have the proper equipment to conduct their required duties.
- Monitoring cameras in real-time at various client locations.
- Monitoring and maintaining control of the shift.
99% of security companies do not have a dispatch center; they use either a driver on the road or an out-of-country call center. This makes whoever is taking calls completely out of touch with the security staff and generally, they take calls and do so for many other companies at once.
Each patrol officer sees our dispatcher at the beginning and end of each shift, signing out equipment, doing vehicle inspections, and truly making sure the patrol officer is properly equipped and informed of certain duties as they arise before starting their shifts.
Our dispatch center operates 24/7.
